My passion for writing began with an essay written in middle school. My teachers and family members inspired me to become a teacher. For 30 years I taught elementary students. During that time I married the love of my life, and we raised two sons. After a busy teaching career, I decided it was time to write the children's books I've always dreamt about. My absolute love of animals is the topic of my two realistic fiction stories. I use my creative nature to illustrate my books as well. I encourage you to bring stories to life for children at an early age.
